Men's Anti-violence Network
The Men's Anti-violence Network (MAN) is a group of more than 100 business and community leaders dedicated to stopping domestic violence by holding the abuser accountable and working on prevention efforts. MAN's focus is on influencing public policy, increasing public awareness and supporting prevention programs for children. It is the only group of its kind in the nation. In four years of existence, MAN has become a leader in the domestic violence prevention community. This influential group has worked closely with community partners at the Governor's office, the Attorney General's office, and the Supreme Court, as well as with those in law enforcement, prosecution, victim's advocacy, and offender treatment, to provide a broad-based approach to ending domestic violence. MAN members lobby at the state legislature, speak before community groups, work with the media, develop public awareness campaigns and work with the schools on prevention programs. MAN is an initiative of Arizona Foundation for Women.
